Centre de santé communautaire du Témiskaming & Timiskaming Health Unit have partnered to create a fully bilingual document for older adults and service providers to easily navigate physical activities available in communities through Timiskaming District. Age Friendly Indoor Walking

Looking for interactive indoor spaces to walk during the winter months? Come out and join us twice a week for Indoor Walking.

Indoor Walking:

Every Monday from 6:00-8:00pm at Timiskaming District Secondary School (90 Niven St. New Liskeard). Starting the first week of November to the last week in March and following the school break schedule (holidays and March break). This is a free program and all are welcome!

Every Tuesday from 8:30-10:30am at the Northern College Gymnasium (640 Latchford St. Haileybury). Starting the first week of November to the last week in March and following the school break schedule (holidays and exams). This is a free program and all are welcome!

Pickleball

Come out to try a new sport!

Every Wednesday from 12:30-2:30pm at the New Liskeard Community Hall on Whitewood. It is free and beginner racquets and balls are provided.

If you're unsure about playing, we invite you to come out and watch a few games to see if you're interested!
