Did You Know? E-Magazines by AJ Giesen

Temiskaming Shores Public Library has a variety of magazines to check-out in person. It ranges from Children’s magazines like Chickadee and OWL to Cottage Life, Maclean’s, Bicycling and so much more. If you do not see something that you like or have read them all, the ones you want may be available right at your fingertips.

Libby is a free APP that supports users in accessing library services with your library card from the TSPL. Libby has e-books, digital audiobooks, and e-magazines, which is where the “at your fingertips” comes into play.

To access Libby you can either download the APP through the App Store or Google Play, or you can access it through your internet browser.

Once you have downloaded the Libby app you will come to a welcome page where you will use the drop-down to select the Temiskaming Shores Public Library, and then you will need to enter your card number.

The Magazine section will open with “New Magazines” at the top. From here you can select see all to be able to filter by: availability, subject, and language.  Or you can scroll down to see other subjects of e-magazines.
