The City of Temiskaming Shores is currently seeking a Full Time Maintenance Technician/Tradesman within the Recreation Department. The Maintenance Technician/Tradesman is part of a team responsible for a wide variety of maintenance, repair, renovation and construction duties within all City owned buildings. These duties would require the use of skilled trade techniques, and ability to use a computerized building management system.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and education:

  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent;
  • Certification or equivalency in any of the following trades: Electrical, Carpentry, HVAC or Plumbing;
  • Valid Ontario Class “G” Drivers License; and
  • Demonstrate commitment to ensure safety.
