City of Temiskaming Shores Welcomes New City Manager

The Council of the City of Temiskaming Shores is pleased to announce the hiring of Sandra Lee as the new City Manager, effective Monday, November 18, 2024.

Sandra is a practiced upper tier municipal manager, and an experienced senior leader within the public sector. She brings 25 years of professional experience in building community stakeholder relationships, and is skilled in the design, implementation and evaluation of various programs for federal, provincial and municipal initiatives.

“On behalf of Council, we welcome Sandra to the City,” said Mayor Laferriere. “Sandra brings a wealth of knowledge, and her experience and commitment to community, with a focus on strategic stakeholder partnerships and services, makes her an ideal candidate to lead our City. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Staff for their work and dedication for a seamless transition in operations, while Council completed the recruitment process.”

“I am eager to work in collaboration with council, staff, residents and surrounding municipalities, for continued progress to advance City priorities,” said Ms. Lee. “I am looking forward to living and working in Temiskaming Shores, where I enjoy spending time with family.”

In her role as City Manager, Sandra will provide strategic leadership and overall administration for City operations, services and programs, and will be supported by a team of directors and management staff.
