Motorized Snow Machines are prohibited in some areas within  the City of Temiskaming Shores. Please be safe and operate Motorized Snow Machines in permitted areas only.

Roads

• Motorized Snow Machines are not permitted on prohibited roads.
• Crossing a prohibited road while operating Motorized Snow Machines is permitted.
• Motorized Snow Machines are not permitted on Provincial Highways.

City Parks / Property

• Motorized Snow Machines are not permitted to operate in a public park.
• Motorized Snow Machines are not permitted on city owned property including parks.

School Property

Motorized Snow Machines are not permitted on any road within 100 meters of any school:

• Monday to Friday.
• 8am-9:30am and 3pm-4:30pm (drop off and pick up time).

Exemption

Where a persons residence is located within 100 meters of a school, a Motorized Snow Machines may be operated to gain direct access to or from their residence.
